At Hare Hatch Sheeplands Ltd, trading as Hare Hatch Sheeplands, we’re committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

How do we collect information from you?
We obtain information about you when you request to join either ‘Friends of Sheeplands’ or our ‘60 Plus Club’ or are a trade customer applying for an account. This is either via forms you have completed when you visited us, or by registering online to join our mailing list to receive our newsletters.
Entry to competitions involves submission of forms with your personal data (contact details). At the close of competition all submissions are destroyed (if on paper) or deleted if online.
What type of information is collected from you?
The personal information we collect might include your name, address, age & email address.
Your date of birth is not retained, it is simply used to establish eligibility to our 60 Plus club and then it is disregarded & deleted or destroyed (if on paper).
Paper forms and entries are destroyed after a reasonable period of time.
To comply with GDPR if you apply on paper to receive our email service, you will receive an opt in email to confirm that you do wish to receive.
How is your information used?
We may use your information to:
send you communications which you have requested and that may be of interest to you. These may include information about products, services, offers & promotions, events and company news
notify you of changes to our services;
Your information is never issued to third parties. However, information promoting third parties such as an associated business or local event may occasionally be included in communications. This is deemed “things that may be of interest to you”.
Who has access to your information?
We will not sell or rent your information to third parties.
We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Please be reassured that we will not release your information to third parties for them to use for their own direct marketing or any other purpose, unless you have requested us to do so, or we are required to do so by law, for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime.
Third party service providers
A third party service provider works on our behalf to store your personal data. They are a marketing platform in which we or you enter your contact details and from which the email newsletters are created. We have a contract in place that requires them to keep your information secure in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), May 25, 2018. A copy of this can be made available if requested
Access to the storage of your data is limited by password control and available to the Sheeplands Farm Shop Ltd trading as Hare Hatch Sheeplands data controller, the marketing administrator & the third party service provider,

You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us. If you do not want to receive direct marketing communications from us, then you can select your choices by ticking the relevant boxes situated on the form on which we collect your information.

How you can access and update your information

16 or Under
We are concerned to protect the privacy of children aged 16 or under. If you are aged 16 or under‚ please get your parent/guardian’s permission beforehand whenever you provide us with personal information.
