While a lot has changed for COOK since the year when everyone flocked to the cinema to watch Titanic, a lot has stayed the same, too. We still prepare our meals and puddings by hand, and we’re still obsessed with using the best ingredients from farmers and suppliers we trust.

COOK was founded in 1997 by Ed and Dale, two big-hearted entrepreneurs, with a little shop in Farnham and an old pizza delivery kitchen. Inspired by the taste of great home-cooking, their dream was to find a better way of doing business: working for people and the planet, not just profit.

Today, COOK meals and puddings have picked up scores of Great Taste Awards and can be found in hundreds of independent shops all over the UK. We have four kitchens, where everything is still prepared by hand, over 90 of our own shops, and a thriving delivery service.

A founding member of B Corp UK, part of the global movement of responsible businesses, COOK is certified by the Living Wage Foundation and has been voted the Best British Food & Drink Company to work for. Our programme to help people back into work after prison, homelessness and other challenges has been recognised with a Queen’s Award for Enterpris
